Hi! We’re Sonja and Sofia, the founders of GELPOP!
We launched the business in 2020 as we wanted to make hand sanitizer easy, accessible and super chic. We are two busy and active mothers, with five children and two dogs between us. Our days are spent juggling business with family life and a packed schedule that includes school runs, drop-off to football lessons, after school activities as well as our own social lives including exercise classes and regular travel.
The brand was born one afternoon when we were sat together in London’s Hyde Park with our children and dogs. Eager to disinfect everyone’s hands before sitting down to enjoy a snack, we searched in our handbags for wipes, bottles of water or disinfectant gel. It was then that we saw the need for an easily accessible, well designed and unique hand sanitizer accessory that our children could clip onto their school backpacks, and one that our fashion-conscious friends could attach to their designer handbags. When we couldn’t find what we were looking for, we decide to take matters into our own hands and launched GELPOP - bright, fun and sustainable clip-on sanitizer accessories that keep everyone healthy, happy and stylish at all times!

THE GELPOP GEL
Our GELPOP antibacterial gel comes with each GELPOP and kills 99.9% of germs. Refills can also be purchased on the site in packs of 1, 3 or 5.
Each GELPOP contains fast absorbing, light, clear gel containing 75% alcohol to kill 99.9% of all germs and viruses. This is a non-sticky, quick-dry product which contains aloe vera which will keep your hands soft after use.
THE SUNPOP
Whether you’re lounging at the beach, exploring a new city or hiking your favourite trails, our SUNPOP is your pocket-sized saviour. Chic and handy, it can be attached to a beach bag or backpack and can be used for both face and body.
The sunscreen has been developed with KIVU, a skincare brand based in Italy founded by Dr Benedetta Brazzini.
